And so, the war is on everyone's mind nowadays, as it really should be. It's not a good thing, war rarely/never is, and there are people I know who have loved ones or friends being shipped off to the other side of the world because our president thinks it's a good idea even though the rest of the world doesn't. In fact, I think 2 people from the dorm I live in, specifically Webster, have been shipped off because of the war, being forced to postpone their college education. On CNN last night, while I was eating at Applebee's, there was a remote interview/update thing going on from the Tarawa, which happened to be the ship my cousin served on. She's luckily currently at home in Sacramento, and I feel bad to say it, but I'm glad I don't have to worry about her being out there risking her life. *big sigh* And of course there's the asshole who lives under me who has a tally kept in his window of American, British and Iraqi KIA's, and a quote under it that says, "Mess with the best, die like the rest". I hope he trips and breaks his leg over break, or even better, for some reason has his nuts chopped off or something of the sort, asshole.
