Whew. Long day, weird day, Yann is a stupid slacker day. So..., I was going to audition for the Theatre Festival today, but I ended up not. Gist of the story goes that I was looking for a monologue from "Lonely Planet" by Steven Dietz, but I was unable to find it. I find another monologue this morning, about 30 lines, and begin trying to memorize it. Lazy as I am, it's hard to focus, and even with me not having to take care of Peter's mother today, (Walter helped her out), I still managed to slack off enough that I spent the last hour and a half before the rehearsal trying to shove the paper into my brain in some hope it would imprint itself in some fashion, or even just kill me, that would have been ok too. Eventually the moment of truth came, I felt far too unprepared, and I had to bail. I feel kinda bad about it all, but I think had I auditioned, it would have been a waste of their time, but maybe I can get to be a techie instead, which always seemed like fun to me. I've never done it before though *_*, so I don't know if they'll let me. I can just hope, if I'm a techie, I'll probably forgo auditioning for The Tempest, but I dunno. I'm not sure I'm going to audition for The Tempest anyway, but we'll see. I will decide tomorrow so I have an adequate amount of time to find a sonnet and to memorize it.
Classes haven't been so bad, still hoping I can audit Chinese. I was unable to find another class to add to my roster, but maybe I'll go ahead and add 22a to either 8am or 5pm, both are rather unappealing times, but.., depending on what the schedule is for rehearsal, I might do the 5pm one. Otherwise, I guess I'll suck it up and wake up at 8am, maybe. Last but not least, I spent like 30 minutes on one problem for physics hw. It was difficult, confusing, and I'm not even sure I did it right. I can only ask the teacher tomorrow during class and see what she says. I also need to skim my metaphysics book before class tomorrow *_*, stupid me. It'll be ok though ^_^;, right?
And on an ending note, I do believe I'm going to try and purchase some Krazy Kat anthologies. Reminiscing back to the one time I read a Krazy Kat anthology, I just remember that the comic was a very well done comic. It was revolutionary at the time, and even now is remarkable. It's characters have a dynamic that's just, I dunno, great. That's my opinion anyway. I also thought Once Upon A Time In Mexico was a good movie, and apparently others don't seem to agree with me :(. Oh well, I like what I like and the rest of you can bugger off, or you can debate with me, but it's unlikely you'll change my opinions.
